about me.

Every working person has their own unique career path shaped by various experiences and stages. I would like to share some of my most formative experiences that have significantly influenced my career. Traveling and attending language courses have been important parts of my personal development.

In Brighton, England, I spent three weeks deepening my knowledge of the english language. A few years later, I had a two-month stay in the United States of America. This time was particularly valuable as I was able to combine it with travel and an internship at a non-profit organization. These experiences not only provided me with practical language skills in business English but also gave me the opportunity to make a sustainable difference in the lives of others through my work. I am convinced that further education is the best investment one can make in life.

​At limango, I enthusiastically took on the role of Head of People & Organization to build and stabilize my team. My main goal as a leader was to develop strong relationships with my team members and to create a dynamic, inspiring work atmosphere.

During my five and a half years at limango, I faced multifaceted challenges. Particularly during the difficult Covid period, we successfully internationalized and further developed our organization. I was also responsible for the move to a new office, which provided us with an inspiring environment that fosters creativity and collaboration.

Each year, I worked on a needs-oriented and motivating P&O strategy that put the needs of our employees at the center while also contributing to our corporate goals.

With the start of 2024, I received the opportunity to take on the leadership of the Post Purchase area as Director, in addition to the People & Organization Team. Our shared goal was to optimize customer communication, implement automation opportunities, and continuously improve the post-purchase experience.

When Jochen Schweizer GmbH and mydays GmbH merged just a few weeks before my start, I entered an exciting and challenging phase of my professional career. In my role as HR Business Partner for the entire IT department and the two Jochen Schweizer start-ups, I immediately immersed myself in the new structures and dynamics.

I enjoyed the freedom to work independently, but I quickly realized that I had to tackle multiple challenges simultaneously. I needed to understand numerous new processes and consider the diverse needs of employees and managers. This formative period taught me that I couldn't always find the perfect solution immediately.

Instead, I began to understand the change curve and learned to remain flexible and adapt to the constantly changing circumstances. These experiences sharpened my problem-solving skills and strengthened my proactive attitude. I developed a keen sense of how to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.

2013 - 2017

Human Resources Generalist

I had the desire to apply my hr knowledge in an IT company focused on e-commerce. In this role, I took on all hr-related topics along the employee journey for my area of responsibility.

I particularly enjoyed hr consulting, where I supported both managers and employees. Collaborating with various teams was very rewarding, as I contributed my expertise while also learning a great deal about the different perspectives and needs within the organization.

My biggest project was leading the integration of a company acquisition. I embraced this complex challenge with enthusiasm. The successful integration required close collaboration with various departments and careful planning to ensure that all employees were well integrated into the new structure. It was an intensive and educational experience that significantly developed my skills in project management and change management.

In the dynamic world of healthcare, it is crucial that administrative processes run smoothly to effectively support the caregivers. As a competent HR partner of the nursing management, I held a central role.

My primary responsibility was to manage the entire employee journey from an administrative perspective while ensuring that all provisions of the collective agreement were adhered to.

This role provided me with comprehensive and valuable knowledge of a large organization.

2004 - 2011

Tchibo GmbH

Store Manager

I was responsible for the store's profitability and monitored the objectives as well as the budget planning. My tasks included workforce planning and the development of employees in the store, which led to a positive work environment and high employee satisfaction.

To achieve our sales targets, we implemented targeted sales promotions and an appealing visual presentation of our product offerings. The store became known for its excellent customer service, which we ensured through focused training of our staff. Additionally, we continuously monitored market changes and integrated these insights into our strategic planning.

The close collaboration with the District Manager and the departments at headquarters enabled us to successfully achieve our common goals.

Sales Management Trainee

I have thoroughly gone through all the key stages in the multichannel business. I gained this experience both in the southern Germany district and at the headquarters in Hamburg, where I had the opportunity to learn about the coffee roasting facility.

 

This comprehensive traineeship has provided me with valuable insights into the various aspects of multichannel retailing and deepened my understanding of customer needs as well as the processes within the company.
